PMC Hydraulics AB is part of the PMC Hydraulics Group which is the Nordic region’s leading supplier of hydraulic solutions to industry. Their offers range from engineered solutions and global leading manufacturers of hydraulic components to international OEMs across Europe and Asia within mobile, marine, energy and industrial applications.

The business was founded in 1957 in Sweden and has developed over decades with experience in expert knowledge within Power – Motion – Control. PMC Hydraulics is a cross-border organization with approx. 370 employees with integrated operations in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Poland and subsidiaries in China, India, Estonia, and Latvia. The consolidated revenue is approx. 100 MEUR.

The core scope of business is a combination of component distribution, component solutions and systems within the hydraulic field. The offering to the market is a complete choice of customized hydraulic solutions for different applications that are engineered, assembled, and tested before delivery from any of the production sites in Poland, Estonia, India, or China.

The company represents international leading suppliers of hydraulics components like Eaton, SUN, HAWE and Hydraforce. PMC Hydraulics’ top 30 customers represent approx. 70% of annual sales. Some of these top customers are Cargotec, Tetra Pak, Epiroc, Sandvik, Volvo Group and Metso Outotec.

Position

As KAM at PMC Hydraulics, you will be responsible for our most important customers, who are large, international world-leading companies. You will work with many global contacts both internally and externally. There is a high demand for smart industrial solutions and in the role, it is important that you have the ability to understand the customer’s needs, add knowhow and build networks. Your task will be to support the customer and to ensure that new application opportunities and solutions are developed.

The main objective for the KAM is to generate profitable sales growth by adding more value primary with existing customers, in accordance with the Group strategy. This is not a “hunter profile”. It is a long-term relationship builder with current customers, a driven person who takes proactive actions towards existing and new customers to achieve long-term profitable growth. The relationship is based on in-depth cooperation between PMC Hydraulics and the customer.

The position will be part of the Sales Team for Sweden and reports to Michael Carlsson, Sales Manager Sweden, PMC Hydraulics. You will be part of our global sales organization of which 14 people are in Sweden. You can work from our office in Ystad or Gothenburg, or from home (a suitable area of residence is Skåne or southern Sweden).

In this role, you will travel abroad, mainly within Europe, but travel to Asia can also occur.

Candidate profile

For the position as KAM in Sweden, we are looking for an experienced, proactive, and commercial person with interest in and experience from sales to global customers, and with a knowledge of the structural fundamentals behind successful performance in this area. We believe that the candidate should have good communications and analytical skills with experience from a technical heavy industry, automotive, construction or nearby, in areas such as mechatronics or hydraulics.

In addition, we are looking for a strongly motivated, driven person with high drive and a proactive approach combined with structure and attention to critical details. The right candidate is a down to earth person with a great force of action and attention to the customer demands. An important characteristic for the profile is the ambition to build solid relationships on all levels and the ability to focus on cooperation and long-lasting partnerships with customers. The right candidate has a strong technical mindset with solid system capabilities understanding the importance, structure, and functionality behind the products. Further, it is important to be a stable person with a long-term perspective and a natural authority.
